  2. Wikipedia definition: Sustainable development is a pattern of resource use that aims to meet human needs while preserving the environment.

    Team definition: sustainable development is the development that not only meets the current human needs but at the same time compromises the sustainability of natural systems and environment so future generations can meet their own needs as well.

  3. Team Definition: "Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs." It has become more common in the construction of communities to conserve natural resources and lessen the effect on Global Warming.

  5. Sustainable development means improving our quality of life without damaging the quality of life of future generations. It is important to all of us, not just the other inhabitants of the planet, that sustainable development is achieved. This involves each of us as individuals, and careful planning at local, regional and global levels.
